November's Hair Donation Campaign

HHUMC participated and supported the hair donation campaign which was held at Saida Mall in November 2014.The event was a great success because of all the lovely donors. Special thank you  to  HHUMC staff, to Mrs Diana Hammoud, Mr Ali Shaker, Nader and the team, to  Mrs Mayssa Hanouni Yaafoury for her hospitality at Saida Mall, to The Body Shop, Green Touch, Karkafi Hair for their valuable contribution, Sidon Orphan Welfare Society - جمعية رعاية اليتيم في صيدا for the support, Dr. Nasser Hammoud, the energetic volunteers from LITD (Lebanese International for Training & Development and from Karitas, to Alaa Shahabi and Omran Gharib (our new kids on the block at HHUMC), Dr. Fadi Farhat, Mrs Sara Batakji for the creative face paintings, Mr Housam Safadieh for the beautiful pictures; and finally to all the "behind the scenes" people.

Hammoud Hospital UMC launched on Monday, October 8th 2018 the activities of The 6th Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign at Saida'a Municipalties under the title "أنت كل القصة" to shed the light on the importance of early detection, family support, breast re-construction surgery for the woman who chooses.

Eco-Soap Bank Lebanon Launching event

HHUMC is proud to announce the launching of Eco- Soap Bank Lebanon in collaboration with Arc-en Ciel, Musee du Savon-Audi foundation, Mr. Samir Lakhani, founder of Eco-Soap Bank and 29 Hotels across Lebanon. This project aims to reduce the hotels wastes, create new opportunities for unemployed women and provide the underprivileged families with Recycled Soaps. These soaps are collected and sterilized through a process developed by Mr. Samir Lakhani.
